Barclay Catwalk

The BARCLAY CATWALK has been offering a professional, internationally recognised platform to young designers for their entry into the fashion business for 6 years already. Selected designers from the final years in renowned European fashion schools are offered a unique springboard with distinguished catwalk shows in various European countries.

The BARCLAY CATWALK 2001 will take place on 7th of September 2001 at Event Halle 550, Binzmühlestrasse/Ecke Birchstrasse in Zurich. At the moment the selection of the schools is taking place, subsequently the participating designers will be chosen. According to the quality and extent of the work submitted, 15 to 18 young designers will be offered the possibility of participation in the BARCLAY CATWALK 2001. In contrast to previous years a committee of Dutch and Swiss fashion specialists will decide on the participants.

The Barclay Catwalk is a cutting-edge fashion event organized yearly by About Culture Productions. About Culture is a Non-Profit Making Organization whose mission is to bring culture -in a broad sense- across to a wide audience through the organization of events which give new talent different platforms for the communication and presentation of their work to a wide audience. In About Cultures search for a title sponsor, Barclay was selected due to its highly compatible brand image and marketing/communication expertise.
